OPEN CALL AUDITIONS

for The New Haarlem Arts Theatre 
Summer 2011 Season 
of two shows, to be presented on the campus of 
The City College of New York in Aaron Davis Hall.


Auditions: May 19th and 20th, 4.00pm - 10.00 pm
Callbacks: May 21st, 12.00pm - 6.00 pm


Location: Compton Goethals Hall, room 318 
(located at the corner of 140th Street and Amsterdam Avenue)

BLUES FOR MISTER CHARLIE

First Rehearsal: May 23rd
First Performance: June 23rd


Seeking a cast of 18, various ages from 20-65, types, and ethnicities.
All must speak with a Southern accent with the exception of Richard.
Characters include: a Minister, a Grandmother, an Editor of a New
Paper, Students, and other characters of Blacktown and Whitetown.


IT AIN'T NOTHIN' BUT THE BLUES

Seeking strong singer/dancer/actors. 4M 3F, age range 24-45. All
performers are featured leads and must have great presence, humor and
charisma. Come prepared with a showtune and/or blues standard, and a
short contemporary monologue. Callbacks will include a dance call.
